Dar Al-Kitab Al-Sharif International is a non-sectarian society dedicated to the translation of what God Almighty has inspired in the Torah of Moses and the Psalms of David and the books of the prophets and the Gospel of Christ our Lord into Arabic in simple and clear language that can be understood by the majority of people living in the Arabic-speaking World.

The translation of the Sharif version began in the year 1975 and quickly expanded to include dozens of professionals from various denominational backgrounds (translators, linguists, Hebrew and Greek Scholars, theologians and consultants) who have cooperated for decades now to produce this translation of the Torah, Psalms, Prophets, and Injil for the Arab world.
